Purchasing the Props (1)
After communicating with Luke, Mike and my group, I went ahead and ordered the props needed that could be sourced on Amazon earlier than required in order to ensure that they arrived on time. We made the creative decision to use red funnels to contrast with the sombre colours of the set, to emphasise its significance, and to represent danger. Besides this, we agreed on neutral (black/white/grey) or clear colours for the rest of the props to match the darker aesthetics of our sequence, both visually and emotionally. The only potential issue I found with the orders were the handcuffs; it was difficult to find a sturdy, padded pair without having to leave Amazon and instead go on 18+ websites...however, this wasn't an issue as we still had zip ties as a backup for the woman's wrists as they would still serve the same purpose.
