DECIDING OUR CAST

 Deciding Our Cast.

Our first step was to brainstorm a potential cast. As a group, we decided that we needed two actors; one middle aged, caucasian male and one middle aged, caucasian female. This was because of our narrative as the two characters are indeed biological siblings, and are old enough to understand the concept of inheriting large sums of money. We wanted them to be the same age as having a large age difference could present itself with controversy and may come off as sexualised. 

Naturally, we looked at teachers in Hurtwood for these roles (due to the nature of our sequence, we looked specifically at theatre teachers as they would be able to meet the demand of the required acting skill):

For the male role, we talked about Ezra and Lee. This was because they are roughly the age group that we wanted the characters to be in, have silver hair, and are both caucasian. 

For the female role, we talked about Clare, Steph, and Louise. This was because again, they are roughly the age group that we wanted the characters to be in, and are all caucasian. 

We chose Ezra and Clare as our main actors as they both fitted the roles more, physically. We felt strongly about Ezra as he has a rather suave aura, similar to the character!
