Contacting Our Cast.
Following our discussions, I offered to be responsible for emailing the potential cast members to ensure that they would be happy to act for us as I have experience writing formal emails due to my student-committee background. I used the same format for each email, adjusting it slightly for the two roles in order to add a greater emphasis on the actor's possible job in our sequence (I added a disclaimer regarding the funnel scene in my e-mails to the women as they could feel uncomfortable with it). We did not inform them of whether or not they were a backup as that could have dictated their answers.
