PHYSICALLY SHOPPING FOR PROPS

 Physically Shopping For Props.

On the 12th of February, I went into my town centre and visited some local charity shops in order to purchase the props that I knew I would be able to find and buy for cheaper (my main goal was to find vinyl but I found other things that would fit well with our set).

I first checked Samaritans, but unfortunately I did not have much luck with the vinyl, but did happen to stop at the bookshelf for my own personal shopping and came across gardening books with scientific illustrations, so I grabbed them. I also found a map of Cornwall and a book on the highest peaks in England, which I realised would help indicate as to how the man would plan on ridding of the body within our narrative, which would be to throw her off of a high point and frame it as a suicide or accident. I checked first with my group if they were OK with this via messaging and they agreed.

I then checked Cancer Research and thankfully came across a stack of vinyl; after flipping through them, I picked out an Ultravox Vienna vinyl as the others were all foreign or outdated for the time period of our film.

Overall, I feel that my trip was successful as I managed to buy things that would reveal more about the man's character, as Luke suggested during our recce trip, as well as attain a vinyl.
